Dr. Mehmet Evren Ozbayoglu is an Associate Professor in The University of Tulsa. He received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa.

Dr. Ozbayoglu rejoined TUDRP in 2009 as an Associate Professor. His main research interests include the Cuttings Transport, Hole Cleaning
Multiphase Fluid Flow, Underbalanced Drilling, Directional and Horizontal Drilling, Fluid Characterization, Rheology etc.

Reza Majidi is currently a research associate of Tulsa University Drilling Research Projects at The University of Tulsa. He obtained his B.Sc. degree (2002) from Petroleum University of Technology, Ahwaz, Iran, and his M.Sc. (2004) in Petroleum Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. After two years of working as a petroleum engineer with NIOC at various Persian Gulf oil and Gas fields, in 2006 he joined the University of Tulsa as a PhD student. He received his PhD in Dec. 2008 and his research interests are in drilling fluids, lost circulations and fluid losses in fractured formations.
